Stockdale Road Primary - Traralgon
Stockdale Road Primary School in Traralgon has joined the KidsCast program in 2026, creating a student-led podcast that brings their school community closer together.
The school has a strong focus on participation, connection and student voice, encouraging students to take an active role in sharing their ideas and experiences. Podcasting is a natural extension of this, giving students a platform to be heard in a meaningful and engaging way.
Through KidsCast, students are now producing a podcast that shares school news, interviews and stories from across the school. It offers families a more engaging way to stay informed, while giving students a genuine sense of ownership over what they create.
Being part of the podcast allows students to build confidence speaking and presenting, develop communication and storytelling skills, and work collaboratively as a team. It’s a practical and creative way to bring learning to life and strengthen connection across the school community.
