Edmondson Park Public School in New South Wales is the first NSW school to join the KidsCast program, marking an exciting step as KidsCast expands beyond Victoria.

As a modern and growing school community, Edmondson Park Public School places a strong focus on student engagement, innovation and creating meaningful learning experiences. Podcasting is a natural fit, giving students a platform to communicate, collaborate and share their ideas.

Through KidsCast, students are producing a podcast that shares school news, interviews and stories from across the school. It provides families with a more engaging way to stay connected, while giving students a genuine sense of ownership over what they create.

Being involved in the podcast helps students build confidence speaking and presenting, develop communication and storytelling skills, and work collaboratively as part of a team. It’s a practical way to bring student voice to life while strengthening connections within the school community.
