Wallan Primary School
Wallan Primary School is part of the KidsCast program, giving students the opportunity to share their voice through their own school podcast.
As a growing and community-focused school, Wallan Primary School places a strong emphasis on student engagement, inclusion and connection. Podcasting provides a natural extension of this, offering students a platform to communicate, collaborate and contribute to school life in a meaningful way.
Through KidsCast, students are producing a podcast that shares school news, interviews and stories from across the school. It offers families a more engaging way to stay informed, while giving students a genuine sense of ownership over what they create.
Being involved in the podcast supports students to build confidence speaking and presenting, develop communication and storytelling skills, and work collaboratively as a team. It’s a practical and creative way to bring student voice to life and strengthen connections within the school community.
